To me, she really hasn't said anything I've come to realize myself, that there are very selfish powers that govern this word and that have driven and continues to drive the course of history. And if I continue to let them I'll be driven off a cliff.

I don't think Ms. Rand would have cared to have followers, because that would be like what sheep do.

I'd say only "One Nation Under God", as she did believe that the government should be governed by the people, with limited control and responsibilities.

There is a reason that when people describe our country's system they describe it as Judeo-Christian, note please that the Judeo always comes first.

The architects of the Constitution weren't American dummy. Patriots yes but not classified American yet. You can't consider that era through a U.S.A. lens.

*Turn on a tap, our water is supplied (and medicated)

*Our food comes wrapped in plastic and drenched in preservatives

*Our bodies defenses against disease and infection have been handed over to the state by means of a pill and a needle

*We need a "license" for every phukking thing we do.

*We cannot house ourselfs on this planet (which we where born into naturally, like every other animal), with out paying someone else for the "privilege" to do so.

*Our careers (majority of our time on the planet) are pre-planned and regulated.

I would say that if we a took an interest in the requirements of self, then collectively we would have many many more healthier and happier "selfs" on the planet.

Ever seen a Horse that has been fed with hay for a few weeks????? what does it do?????? It stands at the gate all day waiting for you to feed it. even if its paddock regrows all its fresh grass. This horse sufferers because it is loved by its fellow being (man). It needs to reconsider its self interest.... there's a whole planet never mind paddock, out there full of happiness (green acres) for a horse, but its sits at the fence waiting for a feed subject to the farmers saddle or the farmers bullet. The whole planet of humans are animals waiting at the gate for the farmer (fellow man or governments) to feed them, subject to the farmers wishes (his bullet or saddle) instead of their own.

Lions don't have or need governments, they survive by their own self interest. Pelicans don't have or need governments they survive by their own self interests. Every one of the other beings on the planet love themselves first, and also love others that help them to love themselves, to varying degrees (some are more solitary than others)

to me ayn rand is saying... take back control of your own life, don't leave it in the hands of others. get selfish to the point that you can provide your own health and happiness and well being. but don't take more than you need to be selfish.

Laissez-faire is ultimate freedom, something which we haven't seen in our life-times. If we had it you would see un-paralled growth in all sectors, except public sector.

When one allows government to charge you to be free, you are no longer free.
