the reason aliens dont make a formal introduction to humanity

so i was watching this chimpanzee show on animal planet this morning and it got me thinking.

here i am watching these chimps in an enclosure and this man trying to interact with them inside their enclosure without getting torn to shreds. he would slowly try to gain their approval to enter their enclosure and the chimps would go apeshit out of nowhere and run him off.

this is the same thing happening on earth only roles are reversed. this time WE are the chimps and the aliens are the humans.

of course there is some interaction. like we as humans will tranquilize a chimp from the wild and probe it, running blood tests and so forth the aliens will abduct a human putting them under a sort of hypnosis or un/sub-conscious state with their technology here and there and probe them but there is never any formal conscious introduction to the masses.

like we would never just walk up to a clan of gorillas or chimps and sit down and start mingling with them, the aliens would never do the same because we would go apeshit and chaos would ensue. we would be like the chimps going crazy banging on the cage. only we are chimps with nukes. and it wouldnt just be the physical chaos they fear bringing about but the socio-psychological chaos. all the religions etc.

and it isnt that they fear our weapons because they could easily destroy us if they wanted to just like we could easily go and mow down a clan of chimps with our guns if we wanted to. they dont want to hurt us but they know the likely reaction we would have if they went into the enclosure. we would go apeshit and they might be forced to destroy us.

same reason the man on the show didnt enter the cage with a gun, he might be forced to kill an attacking chimp which he doesnt want to do even though he wants to interact with them.

earth is a zoo. we are the chimps. they are the humans.
