This is not stopping, those aftershocks are real earthquakes in other places.

Saw one reported dead on India news but can't see the sentence when I click the link ..

Makes you wonder if they aren't "under" reporting the
level of the quake.

I was in Kathmandu only two days ago. Could feel the quake here in Varanasi.

This "big one" was predicted for many years as Nepal has "big one" every 80-90 years. The major problem and why this could be worse then most 8.0 magnitude earthquakes is that the buildings in Nepal are not built for earthquakes or "up to code" for that matter.

I have already seen Dharahara is demolished. 400 people feared trapped or dead. Was just there.

I think Kasthmandap is also gone. It is over 2000 years old and built from a single tree. If this building fell and it never fell in the previous earthquakes we can start to see the true size of it.

I have many friends there that I consider to be family.

Please send prayers and any support that is possible.

I would go back, but I think it will be impossible for some time.

Maybe a bizarre thought, but the Antipode for Nepal just happens to be off the coast of Chile, Wonder if this is anything to do with the Latest volcanic eruption there.
