Ive visited Kathmandu recently, and you couldnt get a worse place for an earthquake to strike. The whole place is built shoddily, and fairly high rise too. I remember thinking that if an earthquake struck here it would be beyond terrible.

That is so sad and we had that article posted yesterday about not getting under tables or standing in doorways. It's a horrible thing. God be with them.

I can't justify all thing I posted on this tread, but I do pray for all the family's that was overtaken by this awful earthquake that happened. That's all we can do as human being doesn't matter where it happens. All we can is pray that the USA isn't next.

Christ did not believe in idol worship. Quit worshipping him in an idol manner, its a disgrace to what he believed in. A great teacher yes, not a celebrity for your dogmatic belief systems.

I lived through the 6.9 in Northridge, California. (Originally registered as 7.1 but they reduced the number under 7 due to insurance claims).

Every second felt like an eternity. Horrible.

My heart goes out to these people. They are sleeping in the streets ...same thing happened in northridge. People were sleeping in some cases in the road median to avoid the cracked apartment buildings.
