I can't believe that just happened! That's nuts.

If they were actually fighting "the 1%," that would be a great point. These people have no concept of that fight, though. They're fighting cops because of one perceived slight that they're using to riot, loot, and pillage. The premise that there is an epidemic of police brutality against black people is flawed, or we would be seeing better poster children for it than Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin, and there would be far more black people dying at the hands of police than white people, and there are not. This guy is a decent example, but he's only one guy, and you don't burn down a city over one instance of real police brutality. These people are being used by the 1%, because of their desire to kill people and break things, and they will bring a hammer down on their heads, eventually, because what they're doing is criminal, not legitimate protest. 1%ers might even be using them to bring on martial law on all of us, and if it does, there will be legitimate resistance to it, not this nonsense. If the cops started shooting into a peacefully protesting crowd, the "youths" would be sympathetic, but they're just out to break stuff, hurt people, and steal things. That's not standing up to the 1%. That's just being a bunch of street thugs.

You're right, though. The rest of us have done nothing but sit on our lazy asses, most of us while working to support our families, which really just feeds the system we all hate, but baby's gotta eat, bro. When a legitimate revolution starts, not one run by really-just-smaller-time-and-more-violent gangstas than the ones in the halls of power, a lot of us will be there, though.
