Brad and Angie just want to draw attention to themselves and their family. This is why they not only adopted and made a big to-do about it, but adopted an Asian child and an African child. They want to stand out and be noticed. Naturally, they have to have a gay child and a transgender child. Shiloh has never been treated as a girl. They've treated her as a boy since she was born - long before she was able to say "I want to be/dress like a boy." Just as a child who is constantly called "ugly" will grow up to think they are ugly, a girl who is constantly told she is boyish or a boy, will grow up thinking they are a boy. We just have to hope this little girl's hormones kick in at puberty and she takes a stand.

Yes, I think it's wrong and hurting her daughter. I don't know how old the girl is, but don't think minors know what's best for them, hence that is why they are called minors, and have parents who are supposed to guide them to better choices and teach right and wrong.

If she's over 18 and makes this decision then so be it, but otherwise, I don't think they should give in to her wish to be called John.

If my child wanted to be called any other name than their birth name, I would say fuck no, that's your name. Parents are way too indulgent toward their kids.
