People say that college prepares you for the workforce.

I agree completely!!!

It teaches you to do as you are told, accept authority and to give away all of your self respect.

I was aware when going to school.

And yes Day Care included.

So, you take a smart young child, you put them in Day Care at age 2 or 3. You teach them to defend themselves against bullies, to be greedy, to be afraid, to hate.

Then you go to step 2, public school and the mind programming becomes more advanced. You teach them about unnatural sex, to lie to survive, to be greedy, that violence is acceptable.

Then college to learn to do as they are told.

They come out so fucked up that they are ready to commit suicide at the age of 22.

What a system.

How many people are now getting laid off and then go back to college, at a huge expense I must add, to become "better trained". Yeah, better trained to suck some manager's dick.
