Hmm, well it seems you have earned more of "The Misadventures of Sailor Noory".

As we left him last time he had just run out of HS 16 Headquarters.

Monday the first of many for the Noory, he should have rushed in at 7am like everyone else. The Noory made his presence known about 9:30am " What the..! Chief, you really are painting the walls with THAT paint!" He exclaimed from down the corridor. The Lt. was loaded down with a briefcase with dangling chain and 2 boxes stacked in front of him. We kinda looked at the chain with cuff attached and back up to him. He looks around quickly and smirks while saying "Anyone want to come help me in the backroom?". He then goes on to state that certain things require he wear the cuff. Then he looks over at the Chief waddling down the hallway and asks "Chief has the room assignments been given?" The Chief as always stops looks at him from shoe to brim and states "Yup, sure did sir, I assigned them Friday afternoon. Had to start painting OPS first since you here first". The Noory absorbs this little tidbit in and screws his eyes a touch slimmer. "Chief what room is OPS?" the Lt calmly asks. The Chief just gestures with his head down the hall stating "Last door on the right can't miss it it has fresh paint on the walls".

The Noory was satisfied, he had his place in the world, walking with a quickstep back down the hallway. That is when you here an intake of breath knowing this is going to be fun to watch. I heard boxes falling in a little thump and click, click click rapidly coming inbound. Being smart I go get more blue paint. " The Noory comes back into main room and asks the Chief calmly. "Why did you have the desks painted?" Chief looks at him deadpan asking him "What desks?" I know what has been done. I saw it happen, oh the horror. See, the desk was in a real bad state. The top all scuffed a drawer hanging a little askew, it had character.

This desk was the Noory's new nesting spot. Really it was only desk not sitting at an angle. The desk had a new shiny coat of baby blue Satan had spawn afterbirth. It was bad I cannot stress this. I would not be surprised if it was some sick test. You really could not stare at it more than a minute or it would kinda throb (hard to describe). This beautiful desk was what the LT was hoping to sit at for hours on end. Well, until he actually saw it. We did inform him we fixed the drawer it stills falls off though.

The Noory needed a fix and quick "Chief, where's the coffee?". I never really knew how much coffee moves a Navy, but it does. The Chief recoiled a touch and said "We don't have a coffee machine, sir". The Noory did not take that bit of info to well. "No coffee anywhere Chief?" Glancing at the cup-of-joe in his hands. Chief then follows the Lt's gaze to his hands holding a fresh steamy cup-of-joe. "Oh, this I brought this in Lt." 'Actually pretty good too, just made I was told". The Noory was on pins and needles he kinda stepping in his shoes looking at the Chief "And where was this at?" he asked. Chief gets a far away look in his eye, like remembering where he found that treasure in his hands. "Ya, place next to where you parked your car Lt., there is a sign right next to your head when you get back in the car" Flatly stated by the Chief he was already walking to another little problem of the hallway.

The Noory had already started walking out by the time the Chief realized where and what he was looking at. The Lt. walked right through a paint pan and walked with one blue bottom shoe about forty-five feet down the hallway. One left foot then another left foot all the way down the hall.

We would learn to keep paint away from the Lt. he was a magnet for it.

But, I digress...
Ya well so...

I never liked Noory, either. I want Art Bell back!

I think way better line-up tonight.
