are you kidding? there is a lot of money to be made on pet care! most of it is a racket.

they told us our boy cat had a heart murmur as a kitten and he wouldn't live very long, but we could do some exploratory shit to learn more, blah blah.
well we couldn't afford it and figured, hey, we rescued the cat, we'll do the best we can to shelter it and feed it, but we aren't gonna do some shit i wouldn't do for myself.

well that fat boy is going strong and is probably living better than most people. no exploratory bullshit needed, but i'm sure lots of people would have gone for it.
