NBC Reporter: Evidence ‘Does Not Corroborate’ Claim Gray Tried to Injure Himself
But Jayne Miller, investigative reporter for NBC’s Baltimore affiliate WBAL, told Morning Joe that none of the evidence presented thus far corroborates such a theory of events.

“The medical evidence does not suggest at all that he was able to injure himself,” Miller said. “The force of this injury, akin to have the force involved in a car accident with all that momentum going, that is much more force than you would get trying to bang your head against the wall of the van.”

“You have to have other injuries,” she continued. “You can’t bang your head against the van, to injure yourself in a fatal way, without having a bloodier head. There is just no information that would corroborate that.”

Miller added that the station’s own reporting found that Gray had been unresponsive when the second prisoner was loaded into the van, and that video footage of the police opening the doors suggest Gray wasn’t in a frenzy.

There are reports he had surgery a week before, if true then a good jolt to that same body part could have done it. Reguardless, his fatal injury was in their care, just changes it to manslaughter imo

i believe they were absolutely responsible for his death.
i also believe the cops will get away w/ it.
most of the time they do, regardless of video evidence..

their lives mean more to the authorities than everyone elses.
sad fact...

YES!! Forensic evidence for the win!
Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved.

Jayne Miller is a lesbian liberal...who has been questioned by many people in Baltimore for havinga liberal agenda, and is also directly associated with a liberal spin group that receives money from Washington DC.

To many other journalists in Baltimore ....they have wanted her to stand down from her position because her political reporting is always leaning liberal. Her professional conflict of interests is FUNDED through a non profit she s involved with...She is widely known as an aggressive, anti government, liberal her journalistic position, so instead of reporting facts, she is always being accused by other reporters as reporting from her lesbian liberal man hating, government hating perspective....

Just like this article positions that there is no evidence...well the evidence shows the police stopped the van 2 times in 5 minutes to try to calm the guy down from banging his head, and there was an eye witness to it....so as of today those are facts, and she is just playing a silly liberal, anti truth spin game...

People...understand the writer of news stories, and you will understand the reason for the story every time....She serves a purpose for this Baltimore riot bullshit, and it is not to report the truth...

Those stories that Freddie Gray had a preexisting spinal injury are totally bogus

One thing is certain, however. Freddie Gray did not have a preexisting spinal injury.

Yet that was the story circulating on a handful of conservative Web sites Tuesday. In an “exclusive” that quoted anonymous sources, the Web site the Fourth Estate reported that “Freddie Gray’s life-ending injuries to his spine may have possibly been the result of spinal and neck surgery that he allegedly received a week before he was arrested, not from rough [sic] excessively rough treatment or abuse from police.” The site claimed his injury was from a car accident.

Hahaha...I want everyone to read the article you linked to....It actually states that court documents show he checked a box...stating he had a suit for an auto accident, and the families attorneys statement regarding this was "a little weird"...

keep on posting OP...your not helping yourself.

Re: NBC Reporter: Evidence ‘Does Not Corroborate’ Claim Gray Tried to Injure Himself
I have no problem when people peacefully protest in a safe and visible location, but when people become terrorists and protest in the middle of streets and then riot I have no respect for them. Also I do not feel sorry they ruined their own community and are having a hard time getting proscriptions filled as we are now hearing. Its a hard lesson learned, but one that will take years to recover from. Good for the police in letting them do it. If they would have stopped it they would have been the bad guys and no lesson would have been learned. I only wish they would have destroyed the local ebt center also.
