I love the sound of nature and peace in the morning and evening. Cars, loud stereos, drunk party animals... not my thing at all. “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” - Gautama Buddha |

Light of Kukulkan User ID: 67319312 Australia 05/05/2015 03:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yea. I have no need for hearing people/traffic carry on and on.Or even dogs that are loony..It IS however strange when you are away from all the people/cars etc..and it is too quiet.I do not just hear it I FEEL it..Silence is so loud at times.. Quoting: trinket I know what you mean. I live in the mountains by choice, to get away from the noise of suburbia. Just yesterday I went for a walk and could actually hear my heart beating. Cool and uncool at the same time. “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. I often have trouble sleeping (one of the reasons I moved somewhere quiet), but I've never actually experienced that. Not sure I want to either! “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
