Jesus is against the death penalty

Romans 12:20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

Jesus wouldn't want the Boston bomber to get the death penalty.

He wouldn't throw stones at the woman they tried to execute in public. They brought up the law, and supposed God's word, more like lower mind concepts of God, and he wrote with his finger in the sand, defining that he goes within for his power and wisdom, discernment.

Then he said, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone".

No, Christ is not about capital punishment. That is retaliation and major sin akin to murder. Murder in retaliation is still murder.

Jesus also brought up the whole an eye for an eye, and turn the other cheek. Didn't mean offer yourself as a victim to a psycho by the way. But it did mean, not to react, retaliate, but choose to be a grown up to their child and see them as children, and no preschool teacher executes or retaliates against a 2 year old in diapers still running around with a pair of scissors, a danger to self and others. Please grow up and help others. That is what Christ is about, and we're called to form the Christ within.
