Wish me luck!

I've created an algorhythm based on the fibonacci spiral to predict lottery numbers.
I fed all the past winning numbers into my model so let's see if it works tomorrow.

My theory is that all things, light and even information like random numbers, unfold in a fibonnaci spiral.

If you place past random numbers generated in sequence (like Lottery drawings) into the model, it can assemble the "dimensions" of the fibonacci spiral taking shape and can thus predict what the next "random" numbers will be as the spiral grows.

you should use the golden spiral, which is even more primordial to the nature of the universe than the fibonacci is.
although the fibonacci's approximates the golden spiral almost exactly.

Learn to spell algorithm. The fibonacci spiral doesn't work, I've tried it. I have a better chance with the Toorent Spence Icabat Method.

want to know a little secret? u need to combine the series with the elemental tides from sunrise on the day.. *wink wink*.. it will improve the accuracy of your model tenfold..

first off 99% of the people here do not know what you just wronte :)

and second of all I wish you good luck as I have done data modeling before and it always works better in theory.

I decided to turn my high IQ on to far nobler tasks like banging all the hot women I can get my hands on :)

and do not forget to include a random-generator within your computing! this serves as a security protection against non calculated out-of-the-order happenings (see chaos-theory)!

Why not use Julia-sets with dynamic bifurcation detection; that would do a better job imho.

There are a lot of folks on the Net selling, or asking for donations for, software "guaranteed" to produce winning numbers. Some of them even say, hey, you don't even have to pay unless you win. The con works as follows:

Any 1st year Comp Sci student can write a few lines of code to use the timeticks algorithm available in all languages to spit out random numbers. And, that will probably have pretty close to the same winning ratio as one based on Fibonacci or other series.

Even with purely random numbers, if enough people download your software, or the numbers your software cranks out, the the laws of probability alone pretty much guarantee that a few of them will win. If only 1 out of 10 who win send you money, they end up thinking, wow, this guy is a genius! They tell their friends, who jump in on the action, increasing the odds of a few more winning, a few of whom send you money.

I am not saying there is no Universal Law which orders games of chance. I happen to think there is. I happen to believe that line from the Kybalion which states "chance is law unrecognized."

But, a fruitful pursuit of that Universal Law requires a scientific method involving theorize, test, measure results, and repeat.

Also, let's be real here. Anyone who did, scientifically, discover a reliable, repeatable, system to win at lotto would have to be a complete moron to sell that code, or access to that code, for only the $40 or less I have seen advertisements for. It would make more sense to keep the existence of such a system to yourself and use it to win as much as you can, as often as you can, until the House figures out what you are doing and shuts you down.

If you laid down 1 number in the middle of a slice of paper, would the number then branch off into infinity creating a fractal pattern out of numbers?

Yes its called vortex maths. Search for Marko Rodin

While the fibonacci is commonly used as a stock trading strategy, I feel the lotteries mechanical nature makes it unlikely but you've inspired me to have another go :).
