Interesting Civil War connection
The Baltimore riot of 1861
(also called the Pratt Street Riot and the Pratt Street Massacre) was a conflict on April 19, 1861, in Baltimore, Maryland, between anti-War Democrats (the largest party in Maryland), as well as Confederate sympathizers, and members of the Massachusetts militia en route to Washington for Federal service. It produced the first deaths by hostile action in the American Civil War.[1]

2015 Baltimore riots
On April 12, 2015, Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old African American man who was a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, sustained injuries following his arrest by policemen. On April 18, 2015, after Gray's subsequent coma, the residents of Baltimore protested in front of the Western district police station.[1][2] Gray died the following day, April 19, 2015, a week after being arrested

doomed to repeat history... this is what happens when you set standards for your children but not the people who govern the country you live in.

It doesn't mean shit.
It doesn't even qualify as a coincidence.

One was an historic event and the other was nothing.
