I think the unrest in the Capital on Sunday may have played a part in his decision to continue. The party were officially 3rd in the election. Quite an achievement to say the least. I hope they continue to gain momentum from this. And I hope the Eton lot that rob everyone blind are shaking in their shoes.

I've never seen so many technical problems and cock-ups in any other live tv show - I reckon all the lefty technicians and producers were so stunned by the size the projected tory lead that they couldn't focus on doing their jobs properly for the rest of the night.

It was surreal.video-links to correspondents often had no audio, Sky updated the exit poll to a tory maj well before the beeb did,the onscreen seat count took ages to update,lots of seat declarations weren't covered nor were victory/concession speeches.

with Farage's loss, they COMPLETELY ignored the winner's speech, and only played Farage's speech

I think they planned the whole coverage around a hung parliament scenario and were stumped as to what to broadcast when that wasn't the case.
