Anyone else experiencing an increased sense of hearing and smell?

I had okay smell. Never had great hearing. Until this past week or so.

I started being able to hear things very far away that sound really loud to me.

Trains in the distance a few miles away that use to sound faint. Are now sounding very loud like they are much closer.

I live in a big house with a few people. Use to have troubling hearing the TV set at 32 setting. Now can turn it down. And recently I am able to hear every conservation in every room in the house.


On smell. I've been able smell things very far away.

Last night I was up on my elevated porch. My dog was laying 20 feet away down hill and farted and I could smell it, like it was right in my face.

I am wondering if the increase in senses is the beginning of ascension starting to take place?
