Well, it's quite nice, it's decorative and all, and if it fits the colour scheme in your home, who's to stop you. Thing is, it isn't art. It's all part of a grand deception. There is PROVENANCE - WHO WHAT WHERE and can you PROVE it-sometimes the actual piece is just the precurser to the good ones -or even the ones that came after -its a pregression of the persons "eye" and what he or she is trying to accomplish..

There is STYLE-and styles have fans or popularity for some-

like realism versus impressionism - a photo is realistic and some fuzzy colors on canvass turn into a picture when you back away

There is COLOR

Colors can represent human emotions or evoke them in a way that people can recognize and appreciate...

And there is FINANCE -

ART with the right combination of these and other things will hold value -and is not watched -and (conspiracy theory of art popularity now) if leaving the counrty who would notice a few dumb paintings -meanwhile you get to take your millions with you and noone is the wiser - THEY ARE INVESTING rather than carrying pieces of worthless paper called dollars.
