Here is the problem with that ... an 'event', such as Jade Helm, cannot 'tag' itself. Please explain that.

The event doesn't have to tag itself. For example, Youtube users named Jade Helm, posting videos about the event including map locations, etc.. Likely have an email with Jade Helm in it too.. Simple enough.

If it's not an exact match, it'll find what's most pertinent according to the information google acquires when displaying the search result.

If there were 8 million mentions of Jade Helm and Chicago's Navy Pier, then it'd show Navy Pier on Google Earth.

But jade helm on google earth shows CERN, the Whitehouse, and the Pentagon as possible matches. Why? Well,, what do you think all the chatter is about with Jade Helm? Disney Land? NO.. People are talking about the pentagon, the white house, wal-mart, cern, etc.. It's nothing nore than algoritms.

No matter WHAT you type in there, it's going to give you a location that is most relevant to the topics being tagged, posted, discussed or shared in regards to the given search term.. It's pulling all the info from googles own SERPs, nothing more.

I put in my youtube name and went to Poland.
No relation to anything I ever searched or posted.

What's your youtube username or channel?

Actually I did a search "jadehelm + TX" and did come up with Six Flags ...

Again, I TOTALLY understand what you are saying. However, when this 'anomaly' and I will call it that, because that is what it is, first showed up last month; this was before a lot of the Jade Helm hype. It would not have had time to propagate into the algorithm. As well as we are seeing the same results this month, as we did last. One unique result we are also getting today as we did last month is "Pantex Plant" ... So who, when they found out about Jade Helm, related "Pantex Plant" to that search. I am still not sure what it is, but it came up in many searches.

And I totally disagree that it is pulling from Goggles se result page ... otherwise it would not have found me by proper name, when my name was not spelled properly. It is using other databases, I am convinced!

I as well as I am sure, because you are masking your IP that you are a shill. As well as the fact that I search your AC# and see that you have not posted before on GLP. And at this point seem to be quite a bit interested in 'data mining' ...

Sorry I signed a non disclosure. Its not exactly exciting though. Just stuff I face prosecution over if I talk, and I am on a list. Me and some buddies that had the same experience. They don't want us or we would already be gone.

Google found you by proper name, because regardless the name is linked to the same info. It has the ability to correct mistakes, as well as show results with the mistakes corrected and/or not corrected.

THe Jae Helm hype has been going on online since far before last month and the algorithm does not need time to propagate results. It's near immediate. I can put up a new product on one of my client's e-commerce stores and since they already rank rather well, they will show up within the hour on google. It depends where the info is posted, time is not an issue.

This is all the same reason why certain news agencies, lovacl TV news stations show up when Jae Helm is searched, because their stories got a lot of views, i.e. it's relevant information...

Well people claim to have experience in SEO or ISP Tech stuff, yet they prove that their skills are garbage. I'm excellent at my job and my skills are very valuable.. As a long time designer, coder, internet marketing specialist and SEO, it took me about 3 minutes after watching the video to know exactly what's happening and exactly why.

New websites are not NEWS or FORUMS. News and forums show up nearly instantaneously.

Want to test it? Start a thread on GLP. Us ea rather unique thread title. Wait 3 minutes, then flush your search history, log out of any accounts, delete your cookies.. THEN, search in google for the exact thread title you just posted and you will see it's already in the SERPS because this site has authority and things are archived really quickly.

Same with nearly all for the subjects and sites we're talking about, as well as the youtube users - they have a lot of views, are popular sites for conspiracy and the subjects are very popular lately. For me it's a no-brainer.

I really cannot offer you any more proof unless you want me to prove the name of your friend by giving me the name of the business that showed up when you searched their name.

seriously its just spitting out results based on googles algorithm for linking non-placename words to the most probable location on earth

youtube name is connected to google account, google earth metadata is connected to google account, likely the last location searched by account will be what shows up.

just a guess.
