Meh. those trailers made it look candy ass.

I haven't seen it but they say it's one long car chase.

Car chases bore me.

My understanding is that it's a VaJayJay flick.

Hahaha read the reviews you muppet. Its get very good praise from critics. Lots of people saying that Charlize Theron plays the best female hero since Sigourney Weaver in Alien, which says a lot. I saw it today, gonna be the best movie this year other than Star Wars: The Force Awakens. A strong 9/10

I'm disappointed by every movie I see, especially ones with lot's of hype, but this was fucking epic! Best action movie I've seen in many years.

Uncle gives it a thumbs up as well, so you know it's good.

It scores major points for using live action and stunts instead of crap green screen and CGI. There is a major difference to the feel of a film, regardless of the script, when real people and real models/miniatures are used instead of computer programs. That is why the original Star Wars and Alien films blow the new stuff out of the water in viewing experience.

Great movie! The action was amazing. Great cast of actors and I loved Max and Imperator Furiosa.

I just got back from seeing it in 3d. The 3d was amazing ! I like the parts of the film that were shot in b&w but with the blue hue, looked awesome. The movie really didnt follow too much of the original, bit of a disappointment but whatever. I seen that they perhaps brought back the little music box thingy from the first movie - i wonder if it were the same one ? and perhaps one of the original max cars ?
Mad max himself kinda sucked, didnt really speak all that much. THe best part of the movie : No fucking love story shit !!!!

That was cool that Hugh Keays-Byrne who played as The Toecutter in the original got to play in this one as Imperator Furiosa .

Actually its quite a good movie it misses though the early Mad Max movies humour and there is no romance whatsoever the storyline is basic but who needs all that when there is great stunts and special effects,its not Feminazi propaganda but the female lead actress does make Max look like a stiff by comparison.

which wasn't that in your face in the actual movie, in fact the old broads get mostly all killed off in the final act...the femnizazis are over doing it

its a solid action film...but not as good as critics are saying

i hope it does well tho, because miller already has a 2nd script written for a sequel

the road warrior has a gay couple.....the guy with the mohawk, and his gay fag bf who rides shotgun on his motorbike...though its not stated directly, its pretty obvious when his boytoy dies from a boomerang to the skull, by the feral kid


millers movies have always had strong female role sin the mad max films..sans the first mad max

road warrior had plenty of tuff "warrior" women

more so in thunder dome

but that was 30 years ago, and nobody gave a fuck about this new age femnisnt bullshit

they were just good movies, with a variety of characters

i never really thought much about it, until all the stuff around the new movie

but yes the mohawk dude on the motorbike, has a GUY riding with him, who looks very girl like through the whole movie..and when he is killed, the mohawk dude freaks out...until Humungous chokes him out....

Saw it Thursday night at the Nashville opener and it KICKED SO MUCH ASS!!!! It was awesome!!!!!!!!!

Time to watch the cars that ate Paris and remind ourselves that peter weir is the real genius
