It doesn't matter that you are talking about some other specific verse. Your claim is that Paul is a false prophet. Given what is written in his letters, if he is a false prophet as you claim, he is a desperately wicked man which would make his writings inspired of the Devil. Now, he attempted to describe God's attributes specifically and in detail in 1 Corinthians 13 when he describes love. No other writer in the entire Bible devoted a whole chapter specifically like that. Where did it come from? Is his description from the evil one? Or is it accurate to God's nature? |

[link to 30ce.com] discusses the points way better than I, as I am not the sharpest tool in the shed I tried to get through as much as I could. Again, this war on Paul thing is something I have been researching for a while and nothing in that link is surprising to me. For instance, the premise that Jesus didn't teach salvation as a gift or through grace, as stated in that link, is usually backed up by stories such as the one with the young rich ruler. From the surface, Jesus seems to offer salvation based on works. But what he was actually doing was exposing a heart that was trying to earn salvation through works. The man left condemned. The story is one of the best proofs that salvation is completely by grace through faith. So again, you and I and everyone here needs to read Paul's writings, such as 1 Corinthians 13, and decide where it comes from. What spirit motivated and inspired it. It either came from above, or it is desperately wicked. What do you think of that chapter? |

I rely on His gift of the Holy Spirit to guide me and not Paul, Peter, or any other man secondly, it is difficult to say which scriptures have been manipulated and which ones have not... man has had too much meddling, the Catholic church for example... it is very corrupt, and it was the MEN of the early church that put the modern bible together, so again there is doubt there for me... I originally came to Christ through an amazing experience while singing and praying to the Lord, no bible was an influence at all. much love to you, thank you again for the banter |

They don't contradict them whatsoever, but, like Peter said... 2 Peter 3 14 Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15 And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. And if people don't twist them to their destruction, they simply regard Paul as a heretic and throw out his teachings altogether which will also bring you to destruction. I've studied the New Testament extensively, and the Lord has shown me a great deal about Paul's teachings, which were brilliant only because God is brilliant and had to bring for these revelatory teachings to expand upon Jesus' original words.
