Colorado Sniper Still at Large: Update P3

Someone took a shot at me when I was driving a rental car on the freeway over 10 years ago. I have no idea why because I didn't live in the state that I was driving through. I thought I heard a tire blow out, then some cars changed lanes behind me real fast, but didn't realize there was a bullet hole 8 inches below my head in the rear spoiler of the convertible I was driving for 12 more hours, 1000 miles later.

So, after being shot at myself, and thinking about the trajectory of the bullet that hit and exited the spoiler on that car, I have a couple of thoughts.

1) The shooter is NOT in a stationary vehicle near the road. The bullet would never hit the 15 window targets with consistency, if at all.

2) The shooter is not a driver of another vehicle, or the people shot at would have noticed someone at their side shooting sideways at them.

3) The shooter is not shooting from behind the vehicle, or the rear windows would be shot out.

4) The shooter is most likely in the back seat of a car going the same direction, just slightly ahead of the victim's cars, shooting out a rear window, or some modified cutout in a trunk.

5) If the shooter were on the opposite side of the road, or in the median, the accuracy would not be as consistent - although I don't know the exact details of where a shooter could hide for all of these incidents.

I feel, based on my experience having been shot at that its a vehicle slightly ahead of the victim vehicle, in the passing lane when the victim vehicles are in the slower lane. Seems to be a small caliber, like a BB gun, or .177 pellet gun, or the victims would hear a gunshot (like I did).

Dashcams in any of the victim vehicles would prove or disprove, but seems there is no footage. A dashcam is about $40 and records HD in real time to an SD card. Seems like a good investment if you drive in Colorado.

I still feel this person had to escalate to get the attention they were seeking. The news was silent then the lady got shot in the neck there was some acknowledgement but dropped from the headlines. The shooter has now killed. Don't serial people crave attention?

I do not believe this is tied to Jade Helm or pot but I would like some background on each person who has been shot at. I wonder if there is a connection or just random.

Update: 6/4/15

As of this morning, they are releasing tentative details that there may be another shooting related death in Loveland, Colorado. This town is along the I 25 pattern of Northern Colorado.

Just to update.

Still have not caught the person or person's involved in this spree of shooting incidents.

3 people are confirmed dead from linked ballistics.

More windows are being shot out around the Denver area.
All incidents seem to be directed at major interstate highways.
