I studied this religion for four years. They know their bible very well. However they have strict rules for behavior and they do ostracized members for behavior errors.

What about the times you cursed him?

As an ex-jehovah's witness myself, everything she said is true BUT......most of the JW's I knew were awesome people. There were some bad apples in the bunch, they were all men.

But, you will find that in any group of people.

I'd never go back, don't need to be controlled like that....but I look back fondly at my years as a JW. There were some bumps in that road, but mostly it was a good experience. I was a JW for 7 years, then decided to leave for many different reasons.
