Since I am going offline soon, I want to give a final synopsis of this thread. It has been a long thread, and as in each thread I do, I always learn and accrue more knowledge.

Inspite of the cruelty of so many of the posters, I still learn from them. However, I do feel very sorry for the hardened ones, who will never truly evolve spiritually...unless a miracle happens.

I have those who have an understanding of the situation as I do, and I appreciate that empathy.

Now, as far as these vets going to Iraq to fight ISIS, I pray it goes well for them. I pray they meet their goal in wiping out some of the evil there. I pray they save lives and free hostages. I pray their intel is correct.

However, I am beginning to think they should just join the other group who plans to fight ISIS here on American soil if need be...which I believe there will be a need. I hope I am wrong.

I think Obama should continue with the air power, and I thank our military for the operation that killed Sayyaf and captured his wife. They did an excellent job, and I pray they can continue with these missions.
