Video of jet fuel melting steel beams | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 69295418 United States 05/26/2015 02:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's not the fuel, it's the volume of air. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69295418 Normally aspirated fuel cannot melt iron metal. That's why forges that force air into the fuel are required to melt steel. I don't know or trust the vid. What I see is way too much air allowed in on way too much fuel on way to thin metal or unknown composition or ally.. It's not a similar circumstance. There was almost no significant fuel left after the tanks and their contents were atomized and burned instantly in the fireball. this really IS a relevant counter argument. i'm with you all the way. You must ask why this has been ignored or covered up by allegedly impartial sources. Take a bowl of kerosene and light it and you get a smokey fire barely hot enough to roast a marshmallow. |

The I-beam used in this video was orders of magnitude smaller than the core beams used in the towers. The fuel was placed directly under the test beam. This was not the case in the towers. The fuel was sprayed all over the place and burned up almost immediately. In order for the towers to collapse straight down at free fall speed means that the entire structure under the impact zone offered no resistance whatsoever. Which is fucking impossible. Play some Jenga, does it ever collapse into it's own footprint? Or slough off to one side or the other? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69336770 United States 05/26/2015 02:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let me the first to say Quoting: Andrasta The jet fuel burned off at impact. And office fire DOESNT burn hot enough for molten steel to be present weeks later nor does jet fuel... Which would have been long gone. No one. And I mean no one that has studied this believes in any shape or form that jet fuel or office structure can create the type of fuel needed for the molten steel SEEN days after the collapse. Give it up. We may not not WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED... but it isn't this bullshit. over a month after the collapse there was molten metal present. Let's go over a few statistics to wrap our minds around what the "war on terrorism" is really about. In any given year since 911, an average of less than 20 Americans have died as a result of "Islamic fundamentalist terrorism". Each year the United states spends over a 3/4's of a trillion dollars combating "terrorism". In that same year 450,000 people will die of heart disease. The government invests less that a half a billion per decade for combating heart disease. The truth is the enemy that was targeted on September 11 ,2001 was the freedom of the American people, it was us, and the ones that targeted were Zionists imbeded in our government. The definition of a terrorist has been twisted into anyone who opposes jewish hegemony in the world. |

Melting of metal is proportional to the heat deposition per unit time divided by the heat absorption mass and diffusion away from the heat source. There is no way the fire was hot enough to even warm up the beams to fry an egg on. That's why you can melt aluminum foil with a match but cannot melt a pound of solder with it. |

Thermite placed within the box beams via the inspection ports access plates could, and did because it was contained. Thats why it mostly ended up in the basement as it melted its way down at 1000 degrees plus above the melting point of steel. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1401964 and what do you think happens the higher you go? More wind. Really? How much? Thats why they build all the steel plants on stilts, more wind to melt steel more effectively. They also pump up jet fuel to melt it because its so easy. |
Lilbabez33 User ID: 65127397 United States 05/26/2015 02:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | geeze. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8547422 The fire was not the only factor that caused the collapse. The jet fuel was not the only thing that burned within the buildings. The fact is that the towers were a unique open floor construction where the buildings support structures were heavily located on the outer walls and the damage of the plane simply hitting the structure at an angle and virtually destroying several floors at once. Yes, fire burned but consider the massive amount of weight of the floors, material, furniture, etc., which was suddenly forced on to every other area of support. Ever build a house of sticks or cards and pull out part of the support in the middle? Try this. Lite the house of cards on fire in the middle and pull out some of the supports and see how long it stands. That highlighted sentence is a lie. That is what makes so many people believe the lie.
