Its a fallout state due to tectonic plates surrounding it but not going through it.....meaning: the military has excess amounts of planes on hand in az. They have more planes than trained pilots! Ever drive from winslow to tuscon? Better yet look at a road atlas of az and try to count all the "restricted areas" i.e. military bases. Someone representing uncle sam was flying those things believe that. Prescott is a nice pitstop on the way to flag. Oil can henrys for the win! |

Its gone mainstream, right? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 39957299 I suppose it has. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15035972 If one crashes, that's thread worthy, if one or two fly over and appear to be functioning normally, that's not really news or thread worthy. Yep. This time of the year is also Air National Guard training season, so it might be a couple of fliers looking to put in some air hours. |

I see alot of other aircraft around here, but never black helicopters. "The purpose of the exercise is to "...provide the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) the opportunity to conduct training in unfamiliar environments during the final phase of their pre-deployment program. During CERTEX, the 15th MEU will be required to conduct a series of challenging and realistic training events to test their ability to conduct conventional and specialized missions." |

If I made a thread for every black military helicopter I have seen, the thread count would be in the thousands. Long story short, we have some of the best pilots in the world because we train them, a lot. |
