If you live in the west, you may have a Western Family grocer near you. Their house brand cider vinegar has not been highly processed and is still "alive", meaning that if you pour some out of the bottle into a cruet or bottle and leave it for a while, a little 'mother of vinegar" will grow in it.

I don't have proof this raw, live vinegar has better health benefits, but I like to think so.

i got the vinegar today! soaked my feet and it seems to help. will do the hair thing in the morning...

I hope that helps with some of your symptoms. I have been using a vinegar rinse on my hair for several years now, about 1 part vinegar to 4 or 5 parts water, and the faint smell is gone very shortly. My hair is long and almost tangle free now, it used to be very tangled after a shampoo and I did not like those waxy conditioners, so vinegar is my friend.

Also I have stopped shampoo and begun using Ivery soap, and I think I am seeing some positive results from that too.
