Nirvanafan23 User ID: 68181871 United States 05/28/2015 12:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Came home from work one day for lunch. Pulled into my apartment complex to see right outside my apartment, a man laying on the ground, a crashed moped beside him, a huge dent in a neighbor's car door and a woman standing there saying, "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" while she smoked a cigarette. Apparently it had just happened. The guy had on no shoes, shorts and a wife beater. His head and face were beet red, his cranium swelling up to grotesque proportions and his eyes swollen absolutely shut, blood gushing out of his nose and mouth. He was sweating profusely and had pissed himself. He tried to stand up, tried to speak, but all that came out were gurgling noises and slurred mumbles. We had a couple of other people show up and sit him down. I asked if anyone had even called paramedics. Nope. So I did and told them the situation. As I was on the phone he began to have a seizure and then vomited puke and blood everywhere, which I then had to tell the 911 operator. I had to go inside after I heard the faintest of approaching sirens. They checked him out quickly and stretched him into the ambulance before taking off. I was pretty shocked as I'd never seen someone that badly injured. Not sure if he lived or died. Apparently he was trying to turn into the apartment complex just as another person was and he ended up swerving and ate it, without a helmet, straight into the neighbor's car door, hence the dent, at 35-40 mph. There was still blood and vomit in the drive when I left. Suffice to say, I didn't eat lunch that day. |

When I was about 12 or 13, I was skiing Mt Shasta with my family, and extended family. My cousin and I, the same age, went down at the bottom level of the Main Lodge, where the bathrooms and such were. After using the restroom, we were putting our gear back on in this long skinny hallway outside and alongside a gift shop. Conversating, we heard a noise. It sounded like someone slipping down the stairs. Wearing ski boots. When she came into sight, she was about 5ft parallel to the ground, with maybe 8ft of room to go. She landed hard on the bench just in front of me, then falling hard down on the seat bench, with her head... She landed on the floor about 20 inches from my feet. I looked down at her, and in that split second between I knew what the possibility of what my eyes, would land on. ... I had to fill out a police report. And then I left. I have never known for sure, if she lived. Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

I have never known for sure, if she lived. I think it should be mentioned, that people who witness traumatic accident of complete strangers, are alone in their memories. Other than, the 'others' who were there. When she landed, she was entirely disoriented, and moving her arms in a very strange fashion. She was ALIVE!, that much was certain. The lady from the gift shop ran out as she exclaimed, OH MY God! She was an adult, and I was a child, it was the first time I felt such relief, to give over responsibility as such... I remember thinking, in the split seconds, I can't do this. Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

The bike hit the car so hard, the mans helmeted head popped off the body. Literally, his head was ripped off. The really fucked up thing was how the body still had a hold of the handlebars. It was as if he gripped really hard at the moment he realized he was fucked, and the signal from the now missing head was so strong the body complied. The bike still ran and was sorta spinning and dancing on the ground, body still holding on, hands at full throttle, head GONE. |

It's Jacksonville's ghetto. There were old gay men trying to buy boys in Confederate park. I found that a little disturbing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5532521 My brother and I used to chase them out of the park. I asked one kid what the fuck was up with him. He said 50 bucks was 50 bucks. I'm telling you the world is filled to the brim with sick bastards. Ugh! Hee-Hawville. We were stationed there once -- hated the place!! I grew up in Arkansas and thought I knew what an ignorant shit was until I moved there. At least the ignorant shits in Arkansas know they are ignorant, the ones in Jacksonville consider themselves worldly sophisticates for some reason. I definitely did not let the door hit me in the ass on the way out. Fate whispers to the warrior "You cannot withstand the storm" the warrior whispers back "I am the storm" INTJ-A |

Tell Me Lies User ID: 61197203 United States 05/28/2015 08:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was about 15 or so my mom and I were driving up a Connecticut highway approaching an area just before these ramps that connect to other routes, the highway becomes elevated about 200-300 feet above a ravine.. Traffic had come to a sudden stop about a quarter mile before, and we had to brake suddenly. My mom was worried since it's very dangerous when traffic does that, she had a feeling something bad was about to happen. She saw in her rear view mirror this woman in a ford explorer didn't stop in time and hit this saturn which was behind us and to the left, which in turn slammed into us. We weren't really hurt, but there was a good amount of damage to our rear. (Later it turned out she was on her cell phone not paying attention and the accidents pretty much caused her to go bankrupt). We thought it was such a shitty thing to ruin our day... *Until* we were able to get the police report rather quickly done and on our way.. The police told my mom what the traffic ahead was for- an accident involving one car that had a father and a son in it. The son was not seat-belted, and was ejected out of the car, and his body thrown over the ramp down into the ravine below. He did not survive. We had to slowly drive past that accident... I don't remember seeing the car but I do remember the boy's sneaker sitting there, in the middle of the highway. |

What leads up to it is almost as chilling as the act. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68372849 Yep. I've seen some fucked up stuff on the internet but most of it is special effects or animated. That video... watching the life fade from someones eyes right in front of you that didn't need to die... helped to put things into perspective about what true horror can be. |
Lady Jane Smith Forum Administrator User ID: 2601548 United States 05/28/2015 09:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was in college, I was dating a doctor doing his residency. He had ER duty one weekend and asked me to bring him some dinner. Shortly after I got there, the EMTs brought in a farmer who had been attempting to air up a tractor tire. The tire had a weak point and blew out. A piece of the tire hit the farmer in the head. When the gurney rolled past, I could see a chunk of the farmers head was missing and his brain exposed. Just awful and very sad. Now, some of the videos I have to check out as part of my job are horrific beyond description. You all think some of the video on here are bad? You should see the stuff we don't allow to stand.
