That's an easy 2-4 more inches of rain in that system, I hope dams and infrastructure will hold!

Y'all can't even imagine the destruction. Water was in my house, I'm on the San Marcos River that the Blanco River runs into. Our part of the river has barely gone down. I've worked in Wimberley my whole career. Friends and family of mine lost everything. The path the wall of water left is apocalyptic, it's terribly sad. Search and recovery have been up and down our part of the river for days. They are looking for bodies almost to Luling. It makes your heart sink.

Not at all. Luckily we're on top of a hill.

This is definitely not natural. One copycat storm after another, going on all spring, and with increasing intensity.

Last year there were a couple days I drove to work because of potential rain. This year there were a couple days I was able to ride my bike to work without rain in the forecast.

What 30 days of rain and 110 billion gallons of water did to Lake Travis in May 2015.

(time-lapse) made using webcam images from the Oasis restaurant at Lake Travis)

We got 2 inches of rain in a hour. This line of storms is a slow moving water-dumping monster.

Very unnatural. This afternoon, by the sounds grumbling above you would have thought the sky was going to rip open. Nothing. A drizzle and am umcomfortable balmy clear sky. I got off work at 12:58 AM, at 1:04 it was pouring. Forecast all day said "no rain". It's unusual but real.

In Fort Worth. Very odd. Never seen anything like this. Some areas of town, all of DFW, just inundated. It won't stop.
