Horror movies don't scare me. Saw the conjuring in theaters and thought it was fucking hilarious.

I think the last movie that scared me was Wolf of Wall Street and mainly from peoples reactions to it.

The Thing and The Exorcist both Classics.

Yep. tTHE EXORCIST is the only movie to really scare me. For the simple reason that that shit is real.

Another movie that gets a very honorable mention not for true scariness but for great suspense was the original version of THE HITCHER from back in the 80s with C Thomas Howell. The star of the movie however is Rutger F'in Hauer as the hitchhiker John Ryder. He was so spooky.

Before that film I was a river rat, after that film I only took showers, and after many years I finally got the nerve to go back into any body of deep water.

As an adult The X-Files had an episode called: Home.
I'll never watch it again. Ever.

That was Disturbing. I remember watching that back in 96. I'll never forget when ''The Mother'' was rolled out from under the bed.

I'll give Prince Of Darkness a watch. Couple people have mentioned that.

I thought Sinister was pretty scary.

It was, that red face was creepy.

When I was a kid my parents let me watch: Invasion of The Body Snatchers.

Scared the shit out of me for weeks.

Salem's Lot scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. I slept with a cross on my nightstand for weeks afterward.

Idk what it is I used to be horrified of scary movies, I remember being more or less forced to watch the shining when I was 9. We were staying at a hotel, and there was no fucking way I was going to sit in the bathroom alone after that scene, so I covered my head with pillows and did my best to ignore the audio...

Anyways I don't know if I really watched any scary movies for a while, but the next time I did it was nothing more than comedy.

I didn't find sinister to be scary at all, maybe it's just the realization that reality is far more horrifying than those movies.

I love Donald Sutherland's last line in that.
