Q: could the cop have handled this situation differently
such that the mentally disturbed man was not killed by a taser shot?

"Investigators said a city crew was working in the area and saw a man yelling at people and dancing in the store's parking lot. Police said they went to the area and determined the man needed medical care.

Police said that while the man was being loaded into an ambulance, he became combative with paramedics and officers. One of the officers used a Taser to subdue the man."
