The 100 most exotic fiction devices..that will never materialize in this reality...
go for it !!!!

they must not be stupid inventions...
could be possible to make films about them

i start the list...

quantum cloning and teleport..from a distance...

like from a control room..that can go and see everywhere..geographically...

with bird fly wall passing camera

can also clone balck holes containing enitire universes

so they must be deployed correctly

for not altering the environment..can materialize them with a vector speed..and rotation..

disintegrators..for waste..

and replicators ...

the main exercise that intrest me..is replicators..

wich would be the consequences of the existance of quantum replicators..

just for goods i mean...

let's try a 25 next steps simulation

Got news for you kiddo. All the exotic fiction devices, aren't really fiction anymore. I worked for General Dynamics many moons ago after I got out of the army. Let me tell you, the shit we've got now would scare the hell out of you. We actually have 'phasers', for one. We've been working on quantum teleportation since the 50s but we're not quite at the star trek level yet; we can beam non living matter only at this point. I've actually seen a working prototype 'replicator' with my own eyes. We also have working cold fusion generators. For obvious political reasons, the cold fusion and the pattern replication tech probably be withheld for the remainder of our lifetimes. Too many big people would lose too much money. As for all faster than light travel, it can be done if we can figure out how not to kill the people involved. Yes many people have died trying to figure that one out. Seems the universe doesn't like it's rules being broken.
On a final note, the military tech is not 50 years ahead. Try about two hundred.

Would replace 90% of dentists; some type of injection made of shark (they regrow teeth their whole life) or some human baby DNS marker that lets you regrow a whole set of teeth. Dentists to me are toxic and are an industry that does nothing to advance the science. If they aren't pulling, drilling, or putting braces on, they aren't making money.
Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war!

A neutron star based quantum computer. (neutron star is so incredibly dense and tightly packed that it can cram the maximum qubits into the smallest possible place). Of course we are talking about fully fledged Type 2 civilizations to build and harness such a device.

Re: The 100 most exotic fiction devices..that will never materialize in this reality...
Teleportation is currently being worked on. Thus far a few particles have been teleported the vast distance across a room. But hey the first airplane flew only a few yards - or less the distance from wing tip to wing tip on a 767.

FTL has already been mathematically demonstrated to be 'true'. And its called Warp Drive. No not because Roddenberry was a prophet, because Roddenberry actually studied the thoughts of science in the 1960's which theorized warp drive. This decade the ability to mathematically model warp drive became possible.

Two or three decades from now it might fall within the realm of possibility to actually generate a warp bubble.

Looking backward to earlier times and eras that predicted such wonders as flying cars, robots that do the housework, and other marvels which many feel we were robbed from. What we fail to understand is that instead of those things, we have ended up with micro-processors so tiny yet so powerful that the common man carries a super computer in his pocket - well a super computer compared to computers of the last century.

We also fail to recognize that we communicate around the world - which kinda makes that whole flying car thing redundant.

None of those were 'predicted' by anyone back in the good old days.

Today we sit at the cross roads of potential futures which we can only imagine a few - some. Currently human knowledge doubles every 18 months. Right now its possible that data is being collected that will in a few years completely turn the notions of what we can do upside down. Sort of like the internet did back in the last century - or the automobile or the telephone.
Sent from my iPhone 12 - because I'm better than you.
