Cern, Science and Religion
It us so frustrating to see money spent on Cern. All of this money and time being spent to discover what has already been created.

Scientist state that "We only know and understand 4% percent of our universe", yet how can you make that statement if you only know 4% of the universe?

If I only know a small amount about a topic, how can I assign a percentage to it if I do not how vast it is?

Only Science and mankind would have the arrogance and pride to assign a "percentage" of understanding to this vast, and still mostly undiscovered universe.

As I read these Scientist statements concerning Cern and their discoveries, everything they stated was speculation. One scientist stated they do not know which "God Particle" they discovered, or much about dark matter either.

Well, if Scientists have so much credibility through theory, and speculation alone, why can't religion be respected the same way?

I find it amusing that so many people will stand by theories and speculations in Science, yet criticize theories within religion.

The irony of Science calling Religion theory and unfounded, yet Science lives in theory itself.

Re: Cern, Science and Religion
When you get right down to it Science is Inseparable from Religion.

Because it was the Grand Architect of the Universe to laid out all the laws and set it in motion.

But Religion has very little to do with the Creator of All, and alot more to do with fighting between the pagan gods.

Its all deception to try and gain your Obedience.

If you can see through it you find truth in Nature.

I agree with what you wrote, more than Science itself. I do agree that there was a Grand Architect of this universe, I just do not know for sure what it is.

There is a God, or Grand Architect, that created everything that Science is studying. Yet Science wants to attribute everything to accidental "bangs", or coincidence.

How vast and amazing our universe is, yet is was all just some random series of events that created it? Yeah right, Science is at times way too arrogant.

At the same time Religion hurts itself as well, with all of the fighting between different belief systems. I honestly feel that most Religions exist due to different interpretations of historical events, The giant flood in the Bible was also noted by many other different religions and civilizations as well.

The story of creation by the Sumerians and other civilizations are similar to the Christian beliefs. If Religion wants to maintain it's credibility, the religious wars need to end.

In my opinion, Science is respected more than Religion ONLY because Science has a global community working together, and
Religion is often at war with other Religions.
