XENA / 2003 UB313 or Planet X / Nibiru-------visible now?

If you read carefully the below article you will find that Xena / Nibiru is visible in the morning sky, bigger and brighter than Venus. Now, for thousands of year nobody saw the"new Planet", now it appears in glory, isn't that somewhat strange. Skywatcher's post was correctly.

well no, not really...
article says venus is magnitude -3.8 and xena is magnitude 19, which is far dimmer than venus...
FYI, lower the magnitude, brighter the object ( or higher the magnitude dimmer the object)

MAGNITUDE:
"The degree of brightness of a celestial body designated on a numerical scale, on which the brightest star has magnitude -1.4 and the faintest visible star has magnitude 6, with the scale rule such that a decrease of one unit represents an increase in apparent brightness by a factor of 2.512. Also called apparent magnitude"

Wrong. A magnitude 19 object is not eye visible.

On a perfectly clear, dark, moonless night (no light pollution), you can see down to about magnitude 6 or so. That's a far cry from magnitude 19.

A decent amateur telescope has a limiting magnitude of around 14 or 15.

RE newly found object space.com sept 06 2006

Obviously this object is too far away to be X. My previous post here had a big error...
The object is about 63,000's away. - Barb

"The newly spotted object is a companion to CHXR 73, a low-mass red
dwarf star located 500 light-years from Earth, and is itself called
CHXR 73 B. "

Assuming the companion object, CHXR 73B is about the same distance as
CHXR 73 - that puts it approx. 500 light years from earth. Per the
conversion table that's over 63,000 AU's per one light year, so it's
over 3,1620,000 AU's well, this seems so remote that not much chance of
it being X (?)

Light Year Conversion Table
Kilometres 9,460,528,404,847
Miles 5,878,499,812,499
Astronomical Units 63,240
Parsecs 0.3066
