Because in 1 year, the OS will be a "pay for service" with monthly fees or they turn your computer off. NO THANK YOU. I've been a Professional IT person for... eesh... 28 years now. M$ has made my career. Paid many bills and bought many toys. I've already abandoned the M$-ship personally. Will push professionally to do the same when WinX becomes "pay-to-play" Cool. Can I rent the electricity to run it or do I have to buy that? Capital costs are murder. I'd never want to own anything for more than a fraction of a second. Hell, I'd rent my socks, pants and drinking water if I could. |
