Mass whale beaching event, Scotland
So sad.

Basically, 21 pilot whales have beached themselves. Rescue efforts underway. According to the article, it is though to be a result of a female that was having difficulties giving birth. The calf died.

Seems to be happening a lot lately though. Could this not be related to the North Pole earthquake? ... Or something to come.!!

Between 20 to 30 endangered sea whales were found dead on a beach on the Gulf of Penas in southern Chile.

Another dead whale washed ashore in Northern California, the 12th carcass that has appeared in the past few months and marks a higher-than-normal number of deaths but not a record.

On April 9, 2015, almost 160 melon-headed whales (Peponocephala electra), members of the oceanic dolphin family related to pilot whales and pygmy killer whales, were found beached on a 4 km (2.5 mile) section of beach in Hokotashi City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

My theory is that they actually follow the magnetic/ley lines of the earth. So if the earth has shifted, the whales will beach themselves....

There was talk of submarines causing something similar not so long ago.

Nearby at Kyle of Lochalsh we tested new types of sonar...

Yes, I heard about that. There was a report about the possibility of an earthquake a few days before the one in Nepal. If I can find it, I'll post it.

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed

Too bad it can't just be the ships.

That's a good theory. I'm fairly sure that such mass beachings are due to seismic and/or magnetic activity. I think I'll keep an eye out for what happens in Icelandover the next few weeks.

Obviously, beachings can also be caused by weapons testing but in those cases it is usually evident. At last following autopsy.

That's my tuppensworth anyhow!

There is no such thing as extinct in volcanic terms.

It is like one saying a fault line is extinct. There is no such thing

Volcanoes are not like species, they have the power to rebirth after thousands of years.
