Religion and Morality

Who is the author of morality? Who determined what is right? Hitler thought killing Jews was right.

It is my understanding that religion is, by definition, a set of ideals which define a person's or group of peoples' function and purpose in life. It is basically an individual's belief on how the world works, and gives an outline on how that person should behave and how they fit into the world.

In that sense, it usually defines one's moral system, or what the individual accepts as right and wrong functioning within their life's ideology aka religion.

If the bible is their "law" book, then ethics and morals are of no concern.

Apparently you don't know how research is conducted. Research is always documented and categorically listed. If there was research done on the subject of whatever idiocy you are alluding to, present the citations, or else stfu.

Or rather, you disagree with their ideology and your understanding of the moral and ethical values in that book.
