2. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "FAMILY CREST". This is a common misconception. Firstly, the CREST is merely the piece on the top of the helmet. The actual name is a "COAT OF ARMS"
Secondly, COATS OF ARMS are granted not to families, but to individuals and corporations. THEY CAN ONLY BE USED BY THOSE TO WHOM THEY HAVE BEEN GRANTED and their DIRECT MALE DESCENDENTS. Using the Bush "FAMILY CREST" because you are called Bush is the same as having the surname COKE giving you the right to use the COKE COLA on your own personal stationary or thinking that having the surname AMERICA gives you the right to use the seal of the US President on the side of your car. Having the surname BUSH DOES NOT CONFER THE RIGHT TO USE THE BUSH COAT OF ARMS. There is, at most only one man (and his eldest son) who has the right to display the Bush Coat of Arms.
