Yup, Im from Michigan....When legalizing MJ was voted on it was the most ever voted on and the most in favor of passing than anything ever before in Michigans legislature.

After attempts trying to delay, outlaw and anything else they could do to re-illegaLIZE it. They decided instead of just having the police go check the medical MJ growers records. They first get a search warrant. Then show up with whats called sweat. In their Big assed armored vehicle. Now...if that isnt trying to intimidate a response I dont know what is.

Our judicial, governmental and political system is fucked. ITs time to start strong arming these self serving fuck heads in office.

Drugs are 'illegal' because if they legalized drugs, the cartels would have to pay (probably very hefty), taxes and the government would be able to regulate and monitor the entire industry. This would actually allow competition to arise since the government wouldnt allow the cartel-monopolies.

The tax thing alone is reason enough for the drug cartels to oppose legalization, because it would cut into their profits, and the more expensive drugs are, the smaller the potential customer base becomes. Add to that increased competition thanks to anti-cartel laws and there would be hardly any money to be made from drugs.

The only ones who WANT legalization are addicts and the small time dealers who get to serve time. This is why legalization will never happen.

Also, the illegal narcotics trade is the third biggest trade in the world right after the arms and oil trade. Tax-free profits, no regulations, monopolies and cartels. They can simply bribe politicians into keeping it illegal, forever.

The CIA ships in plenty of drugs for you from Afghanistan.

All you have to do is drive to the Black neighborhood where they are forced to suffer and sell it to survive and you go home and nod your brains out.
