Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
A friend's father has it. He's in his 70's. What can be done? He might be willing to go anywhere where they have success treating this. In the US, it seems all about chemo. Please help!

Also, please pray for him and his family!

Unfortunately the prognosis for this is very bad. The most important thing is for this father to spend time with his family and make the most of the time he has left, Instead of spending time running after a cure. I am sorry to give such bad news but this is what I was trained for as a doc. I have now and will continue to pray for this family!

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
My mom died of this.

I was able to help a bit when she was on a clear liquid diet I was blending fruits (like watermellon & such) in the blender with a little water & straining the juice thru 2 coffee filters, just to get her some nutrition.

I also steamed a bunch of veggies & ran it thru 2 coffee filters.

My mom had the wipple surgery but 1 lymphnode tested positive. Then gemzar (chemo)...when that was failing she tried a cocktail of chemos...then the end came.

I'm sorry, pancreatic cancer is very bad. Make use of the time remaining! Laugh with him...then laugh again!

Look for a good hospice for his final days.

I will say a prayer for him.

Thank you so much for praying. Yes you are right, it might be more important for him to have as much quality time with his family, than to do spend the end of his life chasing a cure.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
I'm sorry to hear that. My father had it at 80. As close to hopeless as any cancer can be. He had a modified "Whipple" surgery- removed part of liver, pancreas, intestines, surrounding tissue ect....absolute butchery, despite his age being well past the comfortable limit for such a horrible procedure. He lived another year or year and half and suffered quite badly. At almost any stage the prognosis is extremely grim.
Seeing what I saw, if I get it I will go right away for palliative care whatever my age. But the will to fight is strong so that could change.
I still think it's a quality vs. quantity type discussion when it comes down to pancreatic cancer, and where one places time on that spectrum.
I'm sorry, but it almost could not be a worse diagnosis.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
I have researched cancer cures for a long time, all of the list below are said to help prolong life/cure cancer.

Cannabis oil
Bicarbonate of soda
Turpentine
Kerosene
Flax seed oil
Mega dose vit c
Lemon peel
Hydrogen peroxide
Vitamin b17 letrile (apricot pits)
Essiac
Danelion
Aloe
Borax
Tumeric
Garlic
Ginger
Hot peppers
Artemesia annua
Wormwood
Black walnut hull
Ground clove

When taken in combination the strength can be increased.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
My friend,

I am so very sorry for your Father's friend. Respectfully,
when the cancer has achieved Stage 4, this means it has spread
to distant organs :( The 5 year survival rate for pancreatic
cancer patients at this stage is 1%. :(

At this stage, the No. 1 priority of treatment will shift from
extending life to alleviating symptoms, especially pain.

Along these lines, it is HIGHLY recommended that the patient be
treated at a learning hospital, such as those associated with a
large university medical school.

MAYO
Univ of Michigan
Johns Hopkins
etc..

These types of hospitals typically have the very best physicians
on staff as they are instructors.

Medicine aside, the most important thing anyone can do is make sure
this fellow is right with the Lord. Repenting of sin, seeking salvation,
etc...

Get someone to share the Gospel with him.

It can really make for a peaceful passing.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
At stage 4 pancreatic there is only one hope.

That is to make his body recognise that the cancer is bad and should not be there.

Only way i've heard to do this is visualisation, leading to spontaneous remission, but this is exceptionally rare.

The body is the servent of the mind.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
My fiance died of pancreatic cancer last year. Stage 4 is not curable. As the other poster said, it's in God's hands. My fiance lived longer than most though for a few years but he was relatively young and healthy to begin with. He did chemo weekly and tried alternative things like juicing. I think Essiac tea, turmeric and fish oil helped him the most.

The thing with pancreatic cancer, cachexia is a real problem so you want to do what you can to keep weight on. Things like juicing just make one waste away faster.

Cannabis oil.
And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

Pancreatic cancer is so deadly because by the time it shows up in the pancreas, it's already too late.

However, going on an all plant-based, organic diet certainly would be the best natural option. No meats, dairy, processed sugars and other products. Juicing, therefore, isn't exactly necessary as it's best not to drink your calories. Eat the whole foods as they are naturally packaged with everything that is needed for their best use and stripping off those components isn't wise for the very sick. And don't be afraid of fruits as there are many who have cured cancer on a raw vegan diet full of fruits.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
had a family member with it... the docs and hospital recommended surgery and they made $100,000 off of us. even lied and said they got it all (the cancer) during surgery. they really are devils.

if i got pancreatic cancer... i would enjoy my last days until the pain got bad and then go palliative. these devils will not make 100 grand off of me.

Re: Stage 4 pancreatic cancer
If you really want to try alternatives. There obviously cannabis. There's a common chemical called dichloroacetate /dca which us very promising but no use to the industry as its already common. There's vitamin b17 made from apricot kernels which is meant to be the cure all and last but not least is a raw organic veg diet, which I'm sure is more preventative than cure, but worth a shot if you're dying.

And I almost forgot the most promising non drug method.

Fasting. Supposed to stimulate stem cell regeneration. Which could be beneficial during and after treatment.
