What "Waking Up" Really Means
How many times have we seen this phrase having to do with "waking up". It is usually within close proximity to the word "sheeple" and related to some "truth" about the way things "really" work.

Here's what waking up really means:

It means that you understand that there is no race, there is only culture and culture is nothing more than perpetuated group habits.

There is no America or Russia or Mexico or any other country. Sure there are fictional lines drawn on a map and a bunch of verbiage and symbols designating one group of people from another but it is still a fiction.

There is no us or them there is just you.

The you that you think you are does not and has never really existed.

The world is made of mind, primarily your mind.

You can change your world by changing your thinking and imagination about the world.

We each are a fractal of the entire universe. There are an infinite number of universes that you can be in. The people you encounter are the versions of those people in your particular universe. Change your universe and the very same person is yet another version.

What is the obsession with doom but simply approach avoidance? You have a fear of being your fullest potential so you project that outside of yourself as some unknown and all powerful thing "out there" that is going to get you eventually. Ha ha, really think about that because that is 99.99999% of what is being posted on this forum.

In fact if there really was a force of evil in the world it would most assuredly be well pleased with this forum. Why? because it is a resonator of fear. It empowers victim thinking.

The truth is that you are almost entirely in control of the movie that you are living in right now. indeed that is scary and takes getting used to but it is the truth and would set you free if you simply accepted it.

Stop obsessing over your fears and start writing down what you wish to be and do and become and state in the affirmative every day that it is so and it will be so.

That is waking up.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7003169

Just like the other entity said, what you don't like about others is usually a repressed part of yourself. In fact there is more of you in most people you meet than some other entity.

People are not static my friend. You can observe this first hand in yourself. With some people you are one way and with others another way. Why? Because you are not a static thing but a coherence of signal patterns.

Rather than being annoyingly abstract just consider for a short time the following theory to test. After all there is no truth but the truth you experience for yourself.

Simply make a list of the people you hate so much and why you hate them. Write down the attributes of those people that irk you the most.

Then imagine that those traits that you hate so much are quite possibly parts of yourself that you are just not ok with for whatever reason. Take the power away from everything outside of you to reach inside of you and MAKE you feel a certain way. That is actually impossible. Nobody can make you feel any way. You do it to yourself.

Make peace with these parts of yourself that you see in others that you hate so much. Role play being that very thing that you hate. See if perhaps there is a benefit to being that way?

The main thing is to change your thinking about where you begin and where the outside world begins because it's not what you think it is. You experience the world as sense perception in your mind.

There isn't anything actually OUT HERE my friend but energy that you are filtering through certain optical and audio wavelength. Touch is also a frequency. You take that data coming into your brain and that is that, it is just data but then you filter it again through all of your beliefs and prejudices and blind spots and conditioning. Most of which was installed into you by your parents and your culture.

Some of it is useful some is not and your job is to figure out what is not useful and make up your own fucking way to live and the best place to start is to start looking at who you are and not who other people are and what they are doing but what you do to yourself what you really think about yourself.

Not that simple. You see a gay man and what about that bothers you? It doesn't mean you are secretly gay although it could mean that but more than likely it is about the breaking of the gender rules. Something that does not fit within your current conception of what is right and wrong does not make it right or wrong it makes you have to carry the weight of judging people constantly. The truth is that the very same gay man or religitard may very well be the one to pull you from the wreckage of your car before it catches on fire.

Why do religious people bother you? Perhaps it has something to do with how they judge people? The rigid and close minded perception? Could it be that these two things that you dislike are actually one part of you looking back at you and not liking what it sees?

I don't know but I do know that if you every truly want to be free you will need to look inside of yourself and find all of these reasons that you choose to make yourself feel bad by simply observing another human being living their life.

I don't mean we are God proper. A neuron is not an entire brain, is it? We are just neurons, infinitely less than the whole, but still playing an important part in it. A neuron will never be a brain, and a human will never be God.

For the record I believe Jesus is the Messiah.

I like the brain/neuron analogy. That seems closer to the truth than other ideas I have come across. I simply know what I know and that could be helpful to some people or not.

I think you can believe what you wish to believe but beliefs that make you feel heavy or bad are probably false. Beliefs that diminish the sanctity of human life regardless of how that life is being lived are most likely false.

Judgement should be relegated to the sphere of actions. I can judge the killing of another person outside of necessity during a self defense situation as wrong but I can't judge someone who simply looks different or chooses to live a life that is different than my own.

All things serve a purpose that I have no way of divining the full truth and scope of. Judgement is mostly a waste of time.

One should be judging one's own actions primarily and from those judgements should come motivation to act differently not guilt.

You have much to learn, and unlearn. First of all, I am not judging, I am mirroring. None of this conversation is happening anywhere but in your own mind. Literally, you're having a conversation with yourself (literally) and creating judgments, priding yourself on cleverness, snickering about your ability to get a one up on yourself, all within your creation (literally).

Secondly, when I believed my thoughts and my judgments, I was like you. I realize you are also my mirror, and it is not judged. I contain infinity, everything, and it is all welcome as such.

In other words, you think "your not being ready" is something negative. I don't. I see it as being what it is, and there's not a single ounce of my being that thinks it *needs* to change for any reason whatsoever. You can keep on being exactly what you're being, whether that's hate-filled and fear-driven or not. You'll stop when it's time to stop and not a second sooner.

Do you really think you are awake?
After reading that I would commend it if you are 10-13 years old.

Oh yes I really am awake but I by being so I know beyond doubt that I know next to nothing.

You seem to have an idea of what being awake is based on your comment. Please do share it. I am not being facetious in the least. I am genuinely interested in your take on this subject.

All I can say is that was you said in the OP is dangerous.
I think maybe your expectations of a non diverse humanity are too high.

We'll be lucky if we all make it another 100 years.

Oh but that's not the point me thinks. We are not meant to go on forever perhaps. That changes nothing really. Where is the future? Where is the past?

Where we are is now and that is all that matters. The only noble action that is to be taken is in seizing the moment before us and using it to become better than we were the moment before. To give one more hug, to say I love you, to hold open the door for another person, to not react to negativity, to strive beyond our ego and spread as much goodness as we can.

Re: What "Waking Up" Really Means

No race?bsflag

That is correct. No race.

That means you don't have to feel guilty about being white anymore. It means that you can drop the heavy burden of feeling superior. It's so hard to be a vulnerable and error prone human being if you have a conflicting belief of being superior. Being human is where the juice is.
It means that those other people that look different to you are no longer off limits. You may have many friends among those people that you have not been able to meet yet due to the restriction of prejudice.
What we call race is just different kinds of frosting on the same cake. It's all the same cake underneath. Scientifically speaking the DNA is very much the same. That means nothing though. The fact is that EVERY HUMAN BEING REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU CALL RACE loves, dreams, hopes, suffers, strives, fears, etc. What primarily holds certain groups of people back is culture not genetic material. Take any baby of any "race" and raise it with love, discipline, education, spirituality, etc it will become what it was meant to become and that is something beautiful.

no race.
