I once saw a gif someone put on here of a guy picking up a racoon by it's hind legs and throwing it down some stairs. As it twisted through the air, it's wide-open eyes reflected brightly into the camera, right before it's head slammed into the side of the staircase and it's teeth shattered out of it's mouth. A number of people thought that was the most hilarious thing they'd ever seen. Many of them made the same argument you're making. To this day I'm haunted by the thought of the terror and pain that racoon experienced. Some people can suspend their awareness of that fear and pain and laugh their ass off. Some of us choose not to. aHEMagain "And once again, Probability proves itself willing to sneak into a back alley and service Drama as would a copper piece harlot." -- Vaarsuvius, The Order of the Stick [link to tvtropes.org] "History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme" -- Mark Twain "It is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence.-- William Clifford [link to myweb.lmu.edu] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 27331649 Canada 06/07/2015 11:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27331649 I would have stopped it too. After a while its not funny. I know there are a lot of squirrels around but that's not the point. That squirrel probably has shaken baby syndrome now. Maybe it has babies. There are way better ways to proof bird feeders than that. That one I think provides or has more of a demented appeal for the human than anything to see a poor squirrel flung off at high speed. Not very nice. Then they wanted to shoo it off right away after it hit the ground. |They obviously liked seeing it suffer like that and wanted to view the aftermath. I don't see the humor in watching an animal suffer or even be injured. Do you think before you talk, or just open your mouth and words spew forth? You would have stopped it, and how is that exactly? By going up and grabbing a disorientated wild animal or the thing it is grabbing on to for dear life? Sure, sounds like a plan, let me know how that rabies works out for you. I can only assume you are a vegan because obviously any animal suffering pains you, how about you worry about the people suffering going on in the world instead? People are suffering because the same ones who hurt squirrels and laugh about it also hurt people. I agree with you. Anyone who hurts an animal is shit as far as I am concerned. They seem to think animals don't feel. Sick fucks! I have no time for them and no, I did not watch the video and I will not. Very few squirrels have rabies fool. And I just would have grabbed the bar and stopped it just like that. I have many animals on my farm and that my friend could have been stopped blindfolded. Like a spinning top you just grab it. How some of you people are going to make it through life is beyond me. I have grabbed a horse at a dead run. Wrestled cows thru fences. Grabbing a little squirrel feeder jeeze pretty hard trick. I agree with the poster about anybody who hurts animals hurts humans. No Remorse at all with these guys. La la la. What goes around comes around. |
