Where the characters are pretty static and do a lot of talking. I bet we are going to see a lot of animation done like this in the future. Please don't go by these graphics, it only looks that way because us creators haven't been inside yet to make things for the new worlds. It will be gorgeous, I promise you. |

Just to clarify, this is an example of second life "default" avatars: [link to vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net] And this is an example of the quality you can expect once they let the creators get to work: [link to slm-assets3.secondlife.com (secure)] The users have to create EVERY SINGLE THING inside there, until then, it all looks like shit. |

I totally agree. I purchased an Oculus back in November and have been working on a few software apps. I spent nearly 5 hours one day with it on and I was very impressed. Can't wait to see and experience some of the released content apps later this year and next. Going to be insane. Can I ask what you're working on? i'm getting into VR with Unreal Engine 4 but my programming knowledge isn't that great. |

Quoting: thisismyusername I really think the only way to make vr lifelike would be a designated room in a house set up for it, with like fans for wind, and padded walls etc. Then it would be fun. they need to hack brain for sleep mechanics during lucid dreaming...then try to replicate the process by emulating triger tailored for needed experience. Uhm, you scare me. Lol |

Quoting: Supertzar If we're talking about a 3d environment where everything looks like Nintendo or Japanese Anime, I'm out. Really? They can do something like this: [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Last Edited by Lil Sis on 06/09/2015 02:14 PM ************************************************************************ Corruptisima re publica plurimae leges. ~ Terence |
