I don't understand why they say they are trapped in the hood? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47899682 On the East Coast at least, its damn near impossible to live anywhere nice on a normal salary. I pay $1082 a month for my 2-bedroom apartment in the Philly suburbs and its nothing to brag about. In the surrounding communities, it gets different, but not necessarily in a good way. Also, for those who are seriously poor, there are housing assistance programs but you dont get a lot of say on where you get to live. |
