They realize it is not the greatest employer, though. There is another service whose name may be lift or lyft, they thought it was more informal than uber. I tried uberpool for the first time last week -it's a service where you share a ride with someone with a similar itinerary. Slow but cheap, and there are now stories emerging of romances developing between people who met sharing a random carpool.
