In recent weeks, homicides and shootings have spiked. There were 42 homicides in Baltimore in May, the most in a month since 1990. And police have reported 237 shootings this year, an 84 percent jump over the comparable period last year.

Would it be accurate to say that the police are throwing a hissy fit because 6 of their thug gang have been prosecuted lawfully and now they are pouting, saying that they will be refusing to police in the neighborhoods, which may be a good thing to leave it to the community to kill off each other until they learn that its going to diminish their numbers radically if they keep it up, until finally, every citizen is armed and black communities become polite societies.

There were slogans on banners, t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc. in B'more & environs... "Fuch da Poe-lease!" "Hooz streets? Our streets!" Citizens were clambering against police involvement in their affairs. They wanted the police out of their lives, out of their neighborhoods, off of their streets.

Maybe the concerned citizens need to tend their own neighbourhoods. Seems as if they need to hoe the weeds, mow the grasses, and compost the refuse.
