Bird and stones

Bird was born into this world and looked around.

There were lots of beautiful creatures, one more amazing than other. They were flying, swimming, crawling, running around. Some were just standing. Some were just sleeping.

"Who are you?" asked that bird.
"We are stones," answered the creatures.
"What do you mean that you are stones?"
"That´s what we mean. Welcome to the Planet of Stones."
"But you are not a stones. You do not even look like as stones."
"Yes, we have noticed that, but all we know is that we are stones."
"Wait a second why do you think that you are stones? Who told you that?"
"Emm... we can´t remember to be perfectly honest. It has always been so."
"Since when?"
"You shouldn´t ask so many questions. Stones usually do not ask about anything."
"Wait a second, I´m not a stone!"
"Yes, you are. You have two wings, a tail and a leathers. That looks stone to us."
"Are you out of your mind?"
"We don´t have minds. We are stones, remember?"
