Mexican Language: Spanish or Gibberish?
Nothing against regionalisms, that is natural and desirable for a proper development of one country's idiosyncrasy. Just don't assume that is standard international Spanish, because it is not.

Mexican: Que onda, vato!

Spanish Language: Hola, amigo, cómo estás?

"hello, my friend, how are you?"

---------------------------------------------------

Mexican: Ahí nos vidrios!

Spanish Language: Nos vemos!

"See you!"

--------------------------------------

Mexican: Sepa la bola!

Spanish Language. Yo no sé

"I don't know"
---------------------------------------

Mexican: Ya nos cayó el Chahuiztle!

Spanish Language: Nos va a ir peor!

"It's gonna get worse"

-----------------------------------------

Mexican: Tenemos que platicar.

Spanish Language: Tenemos que hablar.

"We have to talk"
-------------------------------------------
1 John 1–3._ 1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.

According to two family members, both fluent in "Spanish Spanish", almost a different language. To be fair some Latin American Spanish such as those from Columbia are also difficult for them to understand, but Mexican is the worst, so they say.

In my own personal opinion, both colombian and peruvian spanish , when properly used, rank as the best spoken spanish along with Spain of course.

True that. I'm only talking about the gang-style sub-dialect that seems to be so popular stateside.
