As good as it is to see calls for calm and people who happen to be black urging "the city's black residence to keep their emotions under control", they really should start by dropping the title "Black activist". How about just being a part of the rest of society instead of separating yourselves?

Seriously, where the hell are theses people when a dozen black people are mowed down in Chicongo by other black people in one weekend? Over 90% of black murders are perpetrated by other blacks but they don't say a word about it. One crazy psychotic drug using white guy murders people one time and is caught within 24 hours by the police, is likely to (and should) get the death penalty or at least life in prison for it and now they are worried about a race war?

Please, for peace sake, get out from behind that gigantic chip on your shoulders, stop purposefully separating yourselves in word, culture, and deed, and join the rest of society. It's a lot easier to fight crime and maintain peace when we all agree that murdering people is wrong no matter what color the perpetrator or victim. Yeah, that's just ridiculous, One incident in 50 years in Charleston, and she's acting like crosses are getting burned, every night, on black folks' yards, and people are still getting lynched. That's the advancing-the-narrative part that we were all expecting today. Gotta have black people thinking Whitey is always out to get them.

In the real world, way more white people are murdered by blacks than the other way around these days. Yes, this was a horrible tragedy and an unspeakable crime, but it's not illustrative of any kind of pattern at all, as she suggests.
