I know for sure that the Mormons were founded by freemasons. And they still have freemason beliefs/rituals in their worship which should not be happening if they are Christian. Now I have been told that JW's were not founded by freemasons but even if they were I have not read where their beliefs/rituals have anything to do with freemasons. And that is where it is important. Not with how a denomination was founded. But what are their beliefs now. Are they practicing things that are unscriptural? If they are then that would be a problem.

I went to school with a kid whose family were. He was no different than anyone else at school. He was a funny, nice guy. The only reason I knew was some other kid told me.

The majority of them want to live on a paradise earth. Guess you didn't know that. So no need to push others out of the way. There is room for all. All their beliefs on are their website. Same with a lot of denominations now. No need to be ignorant of others beliefs anymore in the internet age.

I agree with you. What I meant is that it should be up to a person to serve one's country. They shouldn't be made to do it. It should be freedom of choice. And if they choose not to it doesn't make them a bad person. Many times it means they are smart.

Right, serving the Commander and Chief does not mean serving fellow citizens, in a military dictatorship the young are expendable and readily recycled as industrial waste for the wealth of the rulers.

It's like swaying everyone who won't participate in the next world war has no right to live on earth and should vacate, return only after the willing have exterminated every living thing.

My aunt & uncle were JW. I grew up very close to them and their children. Went to "meeting" with them several times. THat was interesting. Very different from most mainstream churches, as there's not a pastor/preacher giving a sermon. It's more congregation-led. Never went out witnessing with them though. (I'm Baptist, for the record.)

They were nice people. Totally normal. The only things that made them stand out was that they didn't celebrate holidays.

Yeah...the Holiday thing .....actually find it a crack up when people ask if I am ready for Christmas...and I kindly reply...."Well....I dont celebrate it....so yes I am"!

I invited them in. I was very impressed to see how sincere they really are about God. These people knew their philosophy. I felt they do love God very much. But...

I support Jehovah's Witness ministry.

It's authentic, though I disagree about 1914 .. that is simply a prophetic interpretation.

"We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. 18 But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” Rv11:17

The hallmark of Masonic Christianity is it strives to make Christianity Judaism-Lite. Most of Modern Roman Catholicism and American Protestantism falls in that category.
