How to be young and wealthy | |
ChristianLight User ID: 69428509 United States 06/22/2015 01:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Jesus told a Rich man to sell everything he had and follow him. If you're not looking to live a sinful life than give up the desire to be wealthy and well off, those are earthly carnal desires. Be content with being poor, and live a humble life through the lord Jesus Christ. For the reward in heaven is far greater than all things earthly. ChristianLight |
Hello User ID: 47882012 South Africa 06/22/2015 01:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | biggest glp thread ever - just maybe.... for me it would be learning how to make something especially from easily available very low cost these days, electronics parts. Many are less than a penny or a cent. Growing plants to sell. Having a skill/service to offer beyond the competition - something novel. Computer programming should get more and more appealing for many now. |

I'm hoping to get into video game testing or something, waiting now to see if anything comes of it, expecting to wait at least 2-3 months and I need to get my finances up and figured out until then.. To the member who spoke about the words of Jesus I am a believer in God and his power. I do know what I want with my life and that is not to give up all material. I do not have a lot as is, I do not want to move backwards. I have to do what is best for my own health, well being and potentially a family that I would be supporting as well. This cant be done by being a biblical profit, as it does not cut or even reduce medical fees let alone the other bullshit. |

DragonKiller User ID: 65576273 United States 06/22/2015 07:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | buy silver now... when the ratio drops to 15-30:1, then you sell it for gold when the ratio goes back to 50-70:1, then you sell your gold for silver.. You will end up having more silver than before without spending a dime. right now the ratio is: 73 oz. of silver = 1 oz of gold. so, 73:1 you can become extremely rich if you start buying now. the prices are going to skyrocket in the next 5 years... If I were you, i would start working like crazy and spend 90% of your paycheck on silver and gold.. PS: ditch the GF and getting an apartment.. girls will drain your savings. Once you get rich, girls will come to you... im in my mid 20's right now and im 5- 7 years away from retirement. i invested in my teens, and now i have alot of gold and silver... hell, i dont even own a cellphone, iphone, ipad, car or other shit kids buy these day. All i buy is precious metals. DragonKiller |

Our one car crapped out two days prior to our getting married. We lived in a cockroach infested basement apartment in Philly. We got jobs and our brain-power, work ethic and social skills advanced us. We've done OK. I guess the biggest thing is to recognize your opportunities and have persistence. Don't bail when the going gets tough. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 6367822 United States 06/22/2015 07:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not going to make you or anyone else rich, but just FYI, the Wichita News just announced that they are unable to find people to fill highway patrol jobs ($20 per hour roughly) and there is a severe shortage. Now, there must be something wrong with the system when I hear untrained people bitching daily about not being able to find a job paying more than minimum wage yet they won't take a patrol job for $20. Kind of makes me think there really isn't a job shortage. I find the same thing with SPED teachers. Nobody wants to be one and they pay $45K. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 69426628 United States 06/22/2015 07:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The wealthy person will find it extremely difficult to leave all of their possessions and fancy belongings behind them. As for a poor person, he or she will not find it as difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven because there is nothing that is left behind- just the person. BUT, if you are wealthy and love others as Jesus has loved them, and have an understanding of the transition into the Kingdom of God, the wealthy person will also enter the Kingdom of God. |
