Our one car crapped out two days prior to our getting married. We lived in a cockroach infested basement apartment in Philly. We got jobs and our brain-power, work ethic and social skills advanced us. We've done OK. I guess the biggest thing is to recognize your opportunities and have persistence. Don't bail when the going gets tough. |

Now, there must be something wrong with the system when I hear untrained people bitching daily about not being able to find a job paying more than minimum wage yet they won't take a patrol job for $20. Kind of makes me think there really isn't a job shortage. I find the same thing with SPED teachers. Nobody wants to be one and they pay $45K. |
